HCC Women of Excellence hold second annual Appreciation Banquet
 
WELDON, N.C. – The Halifax Community College (HCC) Women of Excellence (WOE) female mentoring program held the second annual Women of Excellence Appreciation Banquet, April 30 on campus. Program participants included:

  • Dean of Student Services and Enrollment Management Dr. Barbara Bradley-Hasty
  • Women of Excellence Advisor Cindy Collins
  • Women of Excellence Secretary Tonya Mason
  • English Instructor Wynette Richardson
  • Women of Excellence Co-Chair Leslie Kingsbury
Presentations were made for certificates of appreciation and appreciation trophies. Leslie Kingsbury was honored as the 2012-13 WOE Woman of the Year.

The mission of WOE is to set the standards for females pursuing personal and professional excellence. Values include modeling dignity, honesty, integrity, respect and responsibility as a way of life. The HCC Student Government Association chartered the group in fall 2008.
