HCC Dental Hygiene students make food donation to needy family

The Halifax Community College (HCC) chapter of Student American Dental Hygiene Association collected food items for a needy family in the Roanoke Valley recently. Dental Hygiene students are required to complete nutritional counseling on patients. The food drive was spearheaded by senior dental hygiene student Morgan Holland while completing nutritional counseling on patient Joseph Mercer when he stated he did not eat some days because he did not have food.
