Career Readiness Certificate (CRC)
The
CRC:
- Focuses on
employment related competencies needed in any career
- Is used by
employers to assess skills for employment and promotion
- Is used by job
seekers to show employers that their skills are certified
- Serves as a
portable credential that can be more meaningful to employers
than a high school degree or a resume citing experience in a
different job setting

The CRC is based upon WorkKeys, a nationally recognized system of
job profiling, assessment and instructional support. Employers use
this system to take the guesswork out of identifying the right
applicant for a job. Individuals that earn a Career Readiness
Certificate confirm to employers that they possess the work skills
to complete a job.
